I’d be lying if I said that this month’s calendar wallpaper wasn’t at least a little bit inspired by Franz Jeitz aka Fudgegraphics.  I thought we’d kick off the new year with a minimalist, typographic design that incorporates one of our snow textures.  This wallpaper is a calendar-only wallpaper, but we’ve got it in a wider variety of sizes including PSP.

This month we have a simple, minimalist calendar wallpaper for you typophiles. A smooth, textured chocolate background with a classy, retro typeface for the calendar overlaid with a bokeh texture that gives the wallpaper its name. The wallpaper comes in the following resolutions:

Ex Libris was designed for typophiles and writers, putting the focus on type and content rather than graphics and bells and whistles.  Everything about the theme was done with readability in mind, from the background color to the font size, but we also added some of our own creative flair to give it a bit of minimalist edginess.  We used fonts from the reputable exljbris font foundry, which also inspired the name of the WordPress theme.  We’re excited about the powerful type controls we’ve added to the options page, allowing users to have full control over the typefaces and font families used on their site.
