A lot of snow and a little bit of holiday cheer has just piled up outside and inside our house and so I thought it would be a perfect time to use some of the fun experimental texture pictures of shiny colorful holiday lights we took last year.

It’s almost the Fourth of July.  In addition to barbecues, dry heat, and celebrating our country’s independence from Britain 234 years ago, that means it’s almost time to blow stuff up! Concern about the environment is a value that is very important to us.  So, amidst our series of holiday-themed Blogger templates, we didn’t want to forget Earth Day, a day in which we celebrate our planet and educate ourselves on how best to be its caretakers.
